Nadia who
is from Stirling has had over twenty years experience as a professional dancer.
Having started dance lessons at ‘The Scottish Academy of Dance’ at
the age of three she then went on to train professionally at the ‘Manor
School Of Ballet’ in Edinburgh where she successfully completed a three
year vocational course in the ‘Royal Academy Of Dance’ syllabus
in classical ballet and ‘Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance’ classical
ballet, modern jazz dance and tap. Nadia has worked constantly throughout Britain
and abroad in theatre and TV for some of the major choreographers including
Antony Johns and Dougie Squires, Second Generation Dancers.
Her extensive portfolio includes pantomimes, dance videos, summer seasons with
Scotlands favourite funny duo Francie and Josie (Rikki Fulton and Jack Mulroy).
Nadia was based in Miami for many years where she worked on board Celebrity
Luxury Cruise Liners, cruising the world as a dancer/singer.
She has worked on many fashion shows, major trade shows and has featured in
several TV Commercials. Nadia was asked by Dougie Squires to choreograph a
dance section for the Official Royal Opening of ‘The Royal Bank Of Scotland’s’ worldwide
headquarters at Gogarburn in Edinburgh. Performing at this event was celebrities
such as Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, Tony Hadley, Peter
Cox, Martin Fry & Ruby Turner.
For many years Nadia was performing as a dancer/singer at Glasgow’s famous ‘Parade
Cabaret Theatre’. She has just returned from Branson, Missouri, USA where
she had the pleasure of both acting as dance supervisor and performing at Dolly
Parton’s ‘Silver Dollar City’.
Nadia is a fully qualified dance teacher, passing with distinction, a three
year teaching course at The Royal Academy of Dance in Classical Ballet.
